Lots has happened since last entry. Moved in to our new home - rent to own, even! Oldest in a new school and will be leaving that school to advance to Jr High this week, Hubby got an awesomely awesome job and is already being prepped for promotions. I have a night job that was full time, then went part time when Hubby's job started. Full time Nights the taking the baby full time days leaves mommy with NO SLEEP FOR 3 DAYS (literally, on day3 my oldest stayed home because I realized if we got in the car for me to drive him to school, we'd crash when I finally passed out) so I switched to part time. The days are still rough because Hubby is on 1

So I mentioned on my facebook that I wanted either an easel and palette or a tablet. The easel because I have some canvases in the closet that I got myself for Christmas but they're MUCH bigger than the ones I practiced on so they can't be held in my hand as I paint on them. The palette because lets face it, who wants to use and old Styrofoam egg carton? And I've always wanted a tablet since the things first came out.
I ask for a tablet every year for Christmas and never get one. Don't get me wrong, I get other great gifts or ones that I REALLY needed, so it never bothered me not to get a tablet. Other things take precedence, you know? Well

Zachery was baptized yesterday, and I'm ecstatically happy for him and that he made the choice by himself. He had a lot of trouble with his school work and consistently lied. And not even about 'good' stuff. It was silly little lies that HE KNEW we knew he was lying because we'd watched him do something when he then insisted he didn't.
He's doing SO much better in school, and at home, and the only thing that changed is that we began praying as a family at night. That's it. No harsher or more lenient punishments, no extra or less treats. Just prayer at night before bed.
